Expose the frame
Lift the mattress corner and confirm the square or rectangular tubing fits the Platform dimensions.

Place the bracket
Slide the bracket over a compatible rail where you want the magnet within reach.

Tighten by hand
Turn the compression bolt until the clamp is firm, then lower the mattress. Follow the included pre-use check.

Raise the box spring enough to reach the rail and confirm it fits the Standard dimensions.

Place the bracket
Slide the bracket over a compatible section of the L-shaped rail where you want the magnet within reach.

Tighten by hand
Turn the compression bolt until the clamp is firm, then lower the box spring. Follow the included pre-use check.

Choose a suitable solid surface
Check that the location has space for the magnet and can accept the appropriate screws.

Position the magnet
Place it where you want a dedicated magnetic hold. The front is the holding face.

Secure with screws
Use both screw holes on each magnet. The supplied screws are for wood or the included drywall anchors; other surfaces may need different fasteners. Tape alone is not a mounting method.

Powerful Magnet
Currently use this to hold a loaded Glock 19 and it is great. You can position it perfectly to grab to arm yourself. I was skeptical but the magnet is powerful and holds it well.

Beyond the bed frame

The Universal 2-Pack gives you two rubber-encapsulated magnets without clamping brackets.
Mount them to suitable solid surfaces in cars, trucks, desks, workbenches and other locations where you want a dedicated magnetic hold.
Screws are required. Tape can provide cushioning when the surface is sturdy enough, but never rely on tape alone.

Actual holding depends on how the magnet is mounted and how much steel contacts it. The 43 lb rating is a measured pull force, not a guarantee for every firearm. We recommend orienting the handgun downward and using a flat steel slide as the primary contact surface. Every firearm differs; contact us with its details if you need help.
No metal surface on the magnet contacts the firearm. Unlike removable sleeves, RESTNLOAD bonds the rubber to the magnet and backing, enclosing the metal. This was an important part of the design.
